Five services, posted prices, one crew doing the labor

These are the numbers we quote on the phone. Square-foot pricing is on conditioned space. Every job below is performed by our own people — nothing here is subcontracted out and no request is ever handed to another company.

Rough clean between trades

$0.09 / sq ft · $185 minimum

Scrap board, offcuts, banded lumber, empty mud buckets and packaging carried out of the structure so the trade behind us has a floor to stand on. Slab and stair treads swept down, nail-and-screw sweep on the walking paths, bagged debris loaded onto our trailer.

Usually called in mid-week, usually needed the next morning. That is normal here and we schedule for it.

Final construction clean

$475–$720 · 1,500–2,500 sq ft

HEPA vacuuming of every horizontal surface in the house, including the tops of door casings and the inside of closet shelving where compound dust settles and nobody looks. Registers pulled, return boots wiped out and grilles reset, so the air handler does not redistribute the whole job the first time it runs.

Window labels razored off at a thirty degree angle — never dry-scraped across a low-E coating. Tile and LVP dry-passed before anything wet touches them. Fixtures, switch plates, and the inside of cabinet boxes wiped. Price moves with window count and how heavy the trim package is, and we say which one is driving the number when we quote it.

Dust-only response

from $240

For the day after a sanding push, when the schedule cannot wait for a full clean but the space has to be usable. One floor, airborne and settled joint compound only, no trash-out and no punch work.

Punch-out touch-up

$165 ours · $310 behind another crew

Walkthrough or buyer-showing clean once the punch list is closed. It is $165 flat where we performed the original final clean. It is $310 when we are coming in behind somebody else, because that is a re-clean of an unknown house and pricing it like a touch-up would be a number we could not honor.

Bagged debris haul-off

$95 per load

Jobsite bags and light construction debris loaded and hauled on our own trailer, timed around your dumpster swap so the box is not sitting full on the day the flooring lands.

What this company does not do. We do not hang, finish, texture, patch or repair drywall. We do not sell building materials. We do not bid or perform any work that requires a Florida construction contractor license. Cleaning is the entire service. If you need board hung, we will tell you to call a licensed drywall contractor — we are the crew that comes in after them.

How a job runs

Four steps and one phone number

Most of this work is booked the day before by a superintendent standing in a driveway with a schedule falling apart. The process is built around exactly that.

Walk it or describe it

Ten minutes on site, or square footage, window count and trim package over the phone. Either is enough for a firm number that will not move.

Take a slot

Rough cleans drop in around the trades ahead of us. Final cleans go the day before inspection. If the inspector is booked for 9am, we are in the house at 4:30am.

Crew and equipment

Two to four cleaners, HEPA-cartridge vacuums, backpack units for casing tops, razors, microfiber and dry pads. Water is the last thing we reach for, and often we never do.

Walk it with you

Our lead walks the space with the superintendent before we load out. Anything missed is corrected on that visit, not written down for another day.

About

Where the name came from, and what it never meant

My name is Josue Medina. I ran board and finish for other people for eleven years around Deltona and DeLand before filing this corporation in March of 2022.

What I kept seeing on those jobs was that the cleanup was always somebody’s afterthought. The crew that sanded went home, and the house sat full of compound dust until a superintendent called whoever picked up the phone. That gap was a business, and I took it.

“Aboveboard” was the pitch I made to the first two general contractors who hired me for cleaning: the number on the estimate is the number on the invoice. No surcharge because the dust turned out worse than expected, no line item that appears after the walkthrough. That promise is the entire reason the name is what it is. It was never a claim about the drywall trade and it never described work this company is not licensed to perform.

Today it is two trucks and four cleaners. We are the company that does the labor — not a booking service, not a referral network, not a franchise. You sign with DRYWALL ABOVEBOARD INC, our crew works the house, and the same corporation invoices you and gets paid. Nothing about a job here is handed off to a third party.
